Microbial Cell Factories for Biorefining
Do you want to exploit tomorrow's production of fuels, pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals? If you choose this profile you will obtain competencies in tailoring microbial production strains, engineering enzymes and enzymatic processes, state-of-art fermentation technology and process integration.

A MSc program with a personal profile
In the MSc Biotechnology Program you can tailor your biotechnological profile through your choice of courses from the group of General Competence courses, the Technological Specialization courses and the Elective courses. In addition, you also have the possibility to follow an individual specialized course that may count as a Technological Specialization or General Competence course.
